Writers, we invite you to submit your best work in our April writing contest. This is an opportunity for you to showcase your writing skills, regardless of whether you’re an experienced writer or a beginner. You can submit any type of work, whether fiction, non-fiction, or poetry.
Theme: Transformation
The theme for this contest is “transformation.” You can interpret this theme in any way you like. It could be a personal, physical, societal, or any other type of transformation you can think of.
Prizes
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three entries:
- First place: N2,000
- Second place: N1,000
- Third place: N500
The winning entries will also be featured on our website and social media channels, giving you recognition for your writing skills.
Submission Guidelines
- Your work must be original and previously unpublished.
- Prose entries (fiction or non-fiction) should be no longer than 1,000 words.
- Poetry entries can be up to two pages in length.
- Submit your entry as a Word document or PDF.
- Include your name, email address, and phone number with your entry.
- No multiple entries, please.
Submission Deadline
All entries must be submitted by April 28th, 2023.
