Call for Entries – December Writing Contest
The month of December symbolizes many things to different people. With it comes Christmas, as well as Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve.
What do you think of when you hear the word, “Christmas?”. What smell, taste, sight or sound comes to mind?
In any form / genre you’re comfortable with, describe how you feel when you hear this word. It could be a poem recounting a fond memory you have of Christmas, a story, or even an article detailing how unnecessary you think it is (and why you think it is). Feel free to surprise us with your words.
Guidelines for submission
#Word count: No restrictions.
#Theme: Christmas.
#Send your entry to submissions@dlitreview.com, as a Word document attachment.
#Include your contact details with your submission.
#Deadline for submission is 28th December, 2022.
#Prizes for the winning entries:
1st place – N2,000, and publication on the website.
2nd place – N1,000
3rd place – N500
