Call for Entries – June Writing Contest

Now, we challenge you to create a response to that letter as if you were addressing the original sender or recipient. Unleash your creativity, dive into the depths of the unknown, and explore the captivating possibilities that lie within the stranger’s story.
What secrets lay dormant in the creases of the aged paper? What emotions and revelations might your response unveil? The canvas is yours to paint as you breathe life into these characters and their unique narratives. Engage readers with your eloquence, ignite their curiosity, and leave them yearning for more.
Submission Guidelines
- Theme: A Stranger’s Letter.
- Genre: We welcome epistolary fiction pieces in response to the prompt. Surprise us with your imaginative approach and captivating storytelling.
- Length: Submissions should be no longer than 700 words.
- Submission: Send your entry for the June Writing Contest as a Word document attachment to [submissions@dlitreview.com]. Include the subject line: “Submission: A Stranger’s Letter – [Your Title].”
- Deadline: The deadline for submissions is [28th June 2023].
- Prizes:
– 1st Place: N2,000 + Publication on our literary website.
– 2nd Place: N1,000
– 3rd Place: N500
