Call for Entries – November Writing Contest

 

 

 

 

Genre: Microfiction

 

 

 

 

Can you write a story, in just a few words, that ends with a particular word?

Such story can cut across any narrative form possible, but it has to be succinct, meaningful and memorable.

 

 

 

 

 

Guidelines for submission

 

#Word count: Exactly 24 words, excluding the title.

 

#Theme: “Write a 24-word story that ends with the word, ‘tomorrow’.”

 

#Send your entry to submissions@dlitreview.com, in the body of the mail, as plain text.

 

#Include your contact details with your submission.

 

#Deadline for submission is 28th November, 2022.

 

#Prizes for the winning entries:

 

1st place – N2,000, and publication on the website.

 

2nd place – N1,000

 

3rd place – N500
