Flash Fiction Contest – Call For Entries | April 2022

As part of our activities, D’LitReview, a literary website, is calling for entries into her 4th monthly writing contest. This time, it’s a flash fiction contest and we’re calling for stories not exceeding 300 words, set during the Christian celebration of Easter.

Easter marks the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. During this period, individuals and families come together to reflect, and as well celebrate.

#There is no minimum word count, but the story should not exceed 300 words.

#Send your entry to submissions@dlitreview.com, as a word document attachment.

#Include your contact details with your submission.

#Deadline for submission is 25th April, 2022.

#Prizes for the winning stories:

1st place – N2,000, and publication on the website.

I’ve written something which is about 320 words and I don’t know how to remove the extra 20 words and ensure the story still makes sense. Can I submit it that way?
