Our Guidelines

We welcome submissions from writers, authors and readers worldwide, regardless of age, race or gender. Please choose the appropriate category below and follow the guidelines. 

*Any submission that doesn’t follow the specified guidelines will be left unattended to.

BOOK REVIEW REQUESTS

We welcome review requests for books across all genres, including both traditionally published and self-published works.

To submit your book for consideration, please provide the following:

 * Book Title

 * Author Name

 * Genre

 * Publication Date (if applicable)

 * A brief synopsis of the book (200 words or less)

If accepted, you will be required to provide:

 * A physical copy of the book (required for review)

 * A digital copy of the book (optional)

Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we cannot guarantee that every book will be reviewed. 

However, we will carefully consider each submission and respond promptly.

FEATURES

We are excited to showcase a diverse range of creative writing on D’LitReview.

We’re open to submissions in the following categories:

*Poetry: Up to 3 poems.

*Fiction: Short stories up to 5,000 words.

*Nonfiction: Essays, creative nonfiction, etc., up to 5,000 words.

*Hybrid: Works that blend genres.

Guidelines:

*All work must be original and previously unpublished.

*Include a short bio (100 words or less).

*A photo is optional but encouraged.

*Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.

*We prefer to receive submissions in a single PDF document.

INTERVIEWS

We are always looking for talented authors to interview!

Please provide the following:

*Your name

*The title of your book(s)

*A brief bio 

*Why you want to be interviewed.

If we’re interested in showcasing your work, we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. 

If you’ve conducted an interview with an author and would like to have it featured on D’LitReview, please submit:

*The interview in text, audio or video format

 *The interviewee’s name

*Your name, bio and any relevant links.

If you have a suggestion for an author we should interview, please send:

*Their name

*A brief reason for your suggestion

*Their contact information (if you have it).

MINI-CONTESTS

Check our website regularly for announcements of upcoming mini-contests. Each contest will have its own specific guidelines and theme.

Follow the guidelines carefully and submit your work by the deadline.

Winners will be announced on our website and social media channels.

BOOKSTORE SPOTLIGHTS

We love to showcase unique and independent bookstores from around the world.

If you own or know of a bookstore that deserves a spotlight, please send us the following information:

*Bookstore name

*Location

*Website (if applicable)

*Contact information

*A brief description of what makes the bookstore special

*Photos (optional)

AVAILABLE OPPORTUNITIES

Help us share opportunities with the writing community! If you know of a literary magazine, website, or organization that is accepting submissions (with no entry fees) or hosting a contest, please provide the following information:

*Name of the publication/organization

*Type of submission (e.g., poetry, fiction, essay)

*Deadline (if applicable)

*Link to submission guidelines or contest page

If you’re passionate about reading and enjoy sharing your thoughts, we’d love to have you join our growing team of reviewers at D’LitReview.

As a reviewer, you’ll have the opportunity to read a variety of books across different genres and share your insightful reviews with our audience.

Please note that reviewers are also expected to participate in reviewing books submitted for review requests to the blog.
